The Challenge

Maibach & Schecho needed a modern digital presence that goes far beyond a simple website. Their existing solution lacked automated property data management, had no structured lead handling, and offered no administrative control over listings or customer inquiries.

The core challenge was building a robust integration with the Propstack API — a third-party property management system — while ensuring data quality, reliable synchronization, and flexible publishing controls for the team.

Additionally, the platform needed to handle complex business logic including neighborhood mapping for Bremerhaven zip codes, extensive enum translations for property attributes, and secure multi-channel lead capture with automated email workflows.

Our Solution

We designed and developed a full-stack platform using Next.js 16 with App Router, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS v4. The public-facing site features a video hero, filtered property listings, dynamic detail pages, a multi-step valuation funnel, and conversion-optimized contact forms.

The centerpiece is the Propstack integration: a resilient sync pipeline with retry logic, exponential backoff, pagination, concurrent detail fetching, and intelligent upsert operations to Supabase. Publishing overrides allow the admin team to control visibility without breaking the external data source.

We built a role-based admin dashboard with Supabase Auth for managing properties, triggering syncs, reviewing sync history, and processing contact and valuation requests through a structured status workflow — all secured with RLS policies and middleware protection.
